Fall is upon us and it’s time to break out those (faux) leather pieces. You’ve seen us style leather trousers for work, but this edgy fabric is no one-trick pony. Leather skirts and dresses are a great addition to your wardrobe for the cooler months. They’re chic, warm, and a fun way to break up your typical workwear looks.

I snagged this faux leather pinafore dress from Zara’s summer sale for under $30! I couldn’t say no to the rich brown tone, pleated skirt, and gold hardware. For this look, I went simple with a classic black turtleneck, tights, and boots. You could easily make this look more formal with a button down shirt and blazer, or pair it with a different top.

I have a few leather skirts and dresses in my closet that I love to wear during this season.
