Hello Lovelies!

We’re giving you all a special treat this week because we almost never do back to back posts! However, this is a special occasion. As you all may know, our friends from PinkBlush gave us the opportunity to choose some pieces from their site to try out and we’re loving them all! We’re all familiar with the phrase “great minds think alike” and this statement holds true for me & Sydney. Ironically enough we chose the same midi skirt in different colors, we wanted to use this as an opportunity to show you all how to style a piece that you have have gotten in multiple colors.

I chose this midi skirt in the blue and neutral print. I love the unique blue color, and since it’s a little dark I can easily transition this piece from spring to summer to fall depending on the top I wear with it. This skirt is giving me some tropical vibes! I love the bold floral print and that it features neutral tones, making it easy to work with.

I paired my midi skirt with a fitted short sleeve sweater top from The Limited. This skirt is very flowy and has a lot of movement so to complement that I went for a top that’s more fitted so I don’t look too voluminous. The camel color of my top really brings out the detail of a similar color in my skirt. I would also pair this with a white, light grey, or even black blouse for the winter.

Recently, I’ve been searching for skirts that are longer so I can be work (and church) appropriate. To my delight, midi skirts have been popular over the last few years so I’ve been able to rack up. This skirt is a nice modest length, without looking frumpy. I could easily dress this skirt up more by adding a blazer or cape. I could also dress it down with some flats and less bold jewelry.

PinkBlush has some really great pieces! So many that it was difficult for me to choose what I liked the most. Needless to say, I’m very happy with my purchase. This skirt is great quality, I’ve washed it and it held up very well and the colors didn’t fade. I also like that it has an elastic waist because zippers can kind of be a pain. It’s so much easier to just be able to slip on your skirt and go!

My chunky bib necklace and favorite spring nude pumps complete this breezy office look! I like to feel light and airy in the springtime and this look gives m everything I need and more!
