Pink Pastels – Spring Monochromatic
It’s finally heating up in Chicago and we’re bringing you another monochromatic look with a soft color and some sweet details. Read below for more!
Hello Loves, it’s finally starting to warm up here in Chicago and for me that means breaking out as many pastels as I can. A few weeks ago, I listed Five Monochromatic Looks you can wear to the office and today I’m giving you ANOTHER ONE (DJ Khaled Voice).
This time around, I’m sporting a soft pink blush combo featuring a pastel pant along with a ruffled top in the same shade. This pink is soft yet anything monochromatic demands the room! It’s soft shade is a Spring must so as soon as I was able to break out the blush, I did.
I scored these pastel pants from the Macy’s Sale Rack and didn’t even question them. I’ve began to fall back in love with slacks as the fashion industry has re-introduced new hem lines like wide legs pants which do amazing things to my shape. In this case, I went with a flare bottom that creates movement and elongates my legs. The color is gorgeous for Spring and honestly is really a statement work look.
Some may think that “statement” means bright and bold. You can always make a statement in chic soft colors especially like this monochromatic pastel look. It’s sure to turn heads down the office and on the street.
Up top, we have a new wardrobe favorite of mine! I had been looking for some softer and lighter blouses to sport at the office and found this one at Nordstrom’s Rack. Right around $25 or so, I loved the color, soft silk texture, and of course, the bold ruffle down the center. It’s really something that adds to the outfit as the pants are a more classic item. I would totally purchase this blouse in more colors if I could! Sometimes the selections are limited but that’s the chance you take when scoring a deal!So who’s ready for Spring with this look? I’ve listed everything you need below to re-create this look! Until next time!
