Must Have Blazers for Fall

Fall is OTW and I’m patiently waiting. I’ve wrapped up some of my favorite blazers that I’m ready to rock now. Blazers have a way of elevating a look immediately so whether you’re in a casual or professional space, they can only do you good!

Hello Loves! Fall is slowly creeping around the corner so it’s time to break out the sweaters, turtlenecks, and blazers! Yesterday I polled some of you on Instagram asking whether your offices were leaning toward the more casual or professional side and not to my surprise, casual won. More and more offices are changing their dress code tune and making the workplace a more comfortable space especially since we spend a third of our life there.

Whether your office is casual, business casual, or professional, there’s always room for a blazer in your life. I’ve always had a hard time adopting the casual work wear space because I just don’t feel put together. Many times, I’m asked “Why are you so dressed up?” from co-workers and my response is always, “I’d rather be overdressed than underdressed!” Even if you’re totally into the casual workwear vibe, there’s nothing wrong with elevating your look every once in a while with a cool blazer. Below, I’ve shared some of my top picks for blazers this Fall.

This style is a favorite of mine and I’m itching to wear this blazer as soon as it gets to 65 degrees. This particular one has elbow pads and a more traditional cut but I’m loving the longer length one’s for this year. They can be dressed up (pencil skirt) or down (cue, jeans) and if tailored properly, it can really pull a look together. *For a more casual look, roll or scrunch up the sleeves.

Colored Blazers

This blazer is a favorite of mine for it’s bright color and light linen fabric which make it perfect for summer. I’m still riding the wave of colored blazers for winter but in the more jewel toned areas. These colors are so rich and basically mimic the trees so having at least one of these in your wardrobe will immediately create some new potential looks.
