When it comes to work wear staples, there’s one particular piece that we find ourselves wearing again and again. The sweater dress. It’s cozy, comfortable, versatile, and within budget.

A favorite for both fall and winter, these affordable sweater dresses are the wardrobe staple I can’t live without. I wear these non-stop for work from home mostly but even when I step out to go to the grocery store. I use any any excuse I can to get dressed up so for now, Trader Joe’s will have to do.

The great thing about these is that they’re so comfortable to wear. The knitted fabric provides a little stretch, for all the day time snacking I’ve been doing, and perfect for when I move from the office chair to the couch halfway through the day.

Pair them with a sleek boot in the fall for the perfect combination. In this case, I wore it with my favorite boots from Franco Sarto. It’s truly the most comfortable boot I own with a heel. Plus, the leather is sleek but also provides just enough stretch for walking.
