How to Wear Leather – In the Office

Pulling off edgy details in the office is easy when done right! See one way I wear my favorite leather pants in the workplace in this cute black & white look!

Hello Loves! It seems like it’s been way too long since we last spoke! I had such a great time at the Auto Show and the dress was a hit both on and off the carpet. But now, we’re back to business wearing this trendy office look featuring a pair of leather pants that can be used for after hours as well!

I love bringing in pieces to the office that you wouldn’t normally find. Leather, colorful pumps, and unconventional prints may seem like an office no-no but when done right, it’s a hit! One of my favorite pieces have got to be these leather pants from H&M that I scored a few years ago for a whole $7! And this is probably the best $7 I’ve ever spent (aside from that Chipotle bowl but you know, close second)

At $7 I have gotten the best wear out these pants over the years. They’re stylish, comfortable, and have just the right amount of stretch. Plus, I can wear these in both the day and night so if I find a piece that does that, it’s a must! I decided to style to the pants with a white oxford top and a cozy polka dot sweater. When you’re wearing something bold and a little hesitant to do so, always pair it with something simple to tone down the look. The simplicity of the white oxford and the polka dot sweater keep the look nice an clean and not to mention go well with my cute shoes.

My sweater is from Ann Taylor and my oxford from J. Crew. Whenever I find a good oxford I can’t help but buy more than one! It’s a closet staple that goes with pretty much everything so it’s a must to stock up on!

In this look, I went with this gorgeous black necklace and some simple black studs. It was a subtle way to play into the edgy look with the leather pants.  Finish the look off with a red lip and there you have it! Sporting leather in the office is easy when done right!
