Striped LOFT Skirt for Fall

We’re getting our start to an Indian Summer this October so we’re keeping our summer pieces out a little longer. See this Striped LOFT Skirt combo from LOFT that’s been a new favorite of mine to bring some color in the office!

Hello Loves! It’s still warm here in Chicago so we’re gladly still wearing some of our favorite summer pieces to the office. New to the scene is this vertical striped skirt from LOFT in a vibrant color palette made in the perfect length. I’ve really been into midi pencil skirts for Summer and this option is definitely taking me straight into Fall. This time around, I paired it with a navy knot detail shell to reel the bold pattern in. When dressing for the office, with a bold piece like this, I always try to ground the outfit with something solid so the main focus is on the skirt. 

This skirt immediately caught my attention not only because of the pattern and colors but I loved the slit detail on the sides. Often, the slit it the back doesn’t seem to lay correctly for me and many times perks upward. The slit on the side allows for movement and adds a bit of interest since it’s not like other pencil skirts. 

Paired with nude accessories and a pearl necklace, you’re ready to take on the week! I can’t wait to style this piece for the cooler months maybe with a comfy sweater and some slim boots. A rule of thumb here at CCC is to always buy pieces that work across seasons. You don’t want to have clothes that you can only wear once or twice a year. With that being said, be on the lookout for this piece again!
