Hello Loves! I have been MIA with the style posts I know, but honestly I just wasn’t feeling it. I didn’t want to write, I didn’t want to shoot, and I didn’t want to do anything. All I wanted to do was sleep, eat, and enjoy me and the BFs new apartment.

Does anyone else get in a funk like that?

I knew my funk couldn’t last long though because I knew I HAD to share this look with you all! J.Crew is one of my FAVORITE stores especially for work wear and after spotting this little number, I knew it has to make it into my closet ASAP.

Cute right!? I’ve literally been stopped on the street asking about where this dress came from and I am so pleased that it’s a crowd favorite! I tend to purchase a lot of blue for some reason so I knew this dress would be different, bold, and the perfect summer. The bright colors can brighten any mood and the geometric print is sophisticated but fun at the same time. I chose to wear a nude heel with this outfit with studs but I would even go with a nice navy or pink pump as well. It’s such a well made dress and so structured which makes it great for conservative offices. While I work in a more creative space, I try to stay away from jeans and ALWAYS opt for something a little more pulled together. You never know who you’ll run into at the office!Oh! And thoughts on my new do? I went ahead and cut about 4-5 inches off my hair for the summer and love it!
