Your Favorite Spring Pant – Wide Leg Culottes
Does anyone have a trend that you just can’t get enough of? Well for me, it’s culottes! I’ve worn them in multiple ways and they are officially my Spring go-to! See how we style this pair today!
Hey Loves! You know how they say trends come and go? Well, I’ve been on the culotte trend for a long while now and no matter how hard I try, I just can’t get enough of them! For me, it’s one of the most versatile pieces of clothing that’s out there. They come in different colors, textures, and styles that you can dress up or down so it’s a great piece to have in your wardrobe. And if you’re tired of hearing me rave about them, sorry not sorry.
I love the style of the culotte since it mimics a wide leg pant but it’s a bit more trendy if you want to switch it up. This particular pair is from Ann Taylor (Marina Style) and I’m definitely getting them in more colors. I have a jean version too which is my go-to on the weekends. They normally run for $98 and currently come in a pastel yellow, black, white, and a khaki option. Remember, we’re all about deals here so hold off until a sale comes. I’m sure there will be something for Easter or a huge Spring push. I scored mine for around $60 I believe.
Since we’re slowly creeping out of winter, my color scheme turns from black to white. You can’t have enough white blouses in your closet especially if you’re a working professional like me. This one is a bright, crisp, white and comes with a lantern sleeve and side tie detail. This top looks great with both pants and skirts so this will be making a repeat appearance throughout the summer.
Now, of course, I wouldn’t leave you hanging without shoe details. Remember, although leopard is a neutral, this simple black and white look definitely needed a pattern. This pair is from Asos and I seriously wish there was every single color in this style. The thick block heel makes it so much easier to get from meeting to meeting since my feet aren’t screaming by 11AM. I love the pointed toe, of course, and the shoe has a calf-hair like texture. This pair ran me $87 and I will definitely be getting my money’s worth. How do you wear the culotte trend?
