For me, every year I make sure I’m stocked on a crisp white button downs. I purchase at least 1 every season to pair with skirts, dresses, blazers and of course the coveted casual Friday staple, denim.

If you update your wardrobe at all, make sure you keep white button downs in your rotation. Without a white blouse, I honestly don’t know where I would be in life. The simplicity and versatility makes it worth it time and time again.

In this look, I styled it with a pair of Zara high cuff jeans and a nude single strap sandal from JustFab Since the weather is still nice, I didn’t need to sport anything else but a small bag to hold a few items. The great thing about this item is that it literally goes with everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. My favorite tip is to style it under a scoop neck dress or over a turtleneck in the winter to layer for some warmth.

Depending on your office space, a shirt like this might be a bit too trendy with the waist tie but if you’re business casual or casual, it’s a fun twist (no pun intended) on a classic.

I love a good jean just as much as anyone else but be careful toe-ing the line in the summer. Distressed is a no no, but I think you could get away with a little raw hem.
