Yellow in the Summer

Hello Loves! If anyone is ready for the weekend it’s me! We have some family in town and I’m happy to get to spend some time with them but first, I wanted to stop by and share this bright yellow dress perfect for a summer day.

Scored a while ago from, would you believe it, Forever 21, it caught my eye right away. The color looks great on my skin and it’s a perfect color for summer. 

The material is super lightweight so you aren’t catching fire while walking down Michigan Ave. but you are catching a breeze! It’s so important to be conscious of the fabrics you purchase especially in the hot summer weathers. Breathable, lightweight, fabrics are key during this time of year.

Another detail I loved was the little bow on the top portion. It’s such a sweet little detail to add more elegance to the dress. Paired with a nude pump and you’re done! I hope everyone has a great weekend and stays cool!
